Weight loss and dehydration

I'm 22 and have been taking Vyvanse for the past few eeks for my ADHD. I've been eating alot less and I'm exercising every day. I'm losing weight but i'm not sure if it's water weight or fat because as a result of Vyvanse I'm almost always dehydrated, even when I drink alot of water.
Any help/advice would be great!

There's only so much water weight you can lose so if you keep losing weight you'll know it's fat and not water. Sorry, I can't really offer much more insight than that without more specific information.0

Can you explain why you believe you are dehydrated? It's possible you're mistaking the "dry mouth" side effect for dehydration. That side effect can cause fierce thirst, but doesn't equal dehydration. With your appetite suppressed, it will be important to make sure you're eating enough. If you're losing weight too fast, especially with very little to lose, the risk of losing more muscle is much greater.0

Sometimes a side-effect of ADHD medication is lack of appetite or inability to gain weight. Couple that with lower intake/ increased expenditure - you SHOULD be losing.
As PPs said - only so much will come from "water weight"
Just keep a healthy diet, make sure you're getting enough protein, healthy fat, veggies and water.0
