What about calories burned during strength training?

Why can't that be logged under Exercise? I just started the Lifetime Team Fitness training, which today was intervals of walking, squats, running, lunges, more running, pushups, holding a plank position, etc. So it was active cardio strength training and I'm pretty sure I burned a boatload of calories. But it apparently isn't measurable on MFP?

It is if you go under cardio and choose strength training you can enter in your calories there and they will add to your overall calories for the day. The strength training is just to keep track of your reps, sets, etc. if you want to.0
