It might be muscle if you've been working hard - it's discouraging to step on that scale and have it say that you've gained, but muscle weighs more than fat, so take heart! (and take your measurements), I find that weeks when I gain weight I sometimes lose inches.0

Don't give up ! Sometimes you reach a plateau and than your scale takes a huge drop at the end of it. I agree with the other member too that you can be going down in size and not losing weight some weeks. Hang in there, and keep at your program! :flowerforyou:0

Hey there MommyW! Do not despair, sweety!!
You may be retaining water if you aren't drinking enough to replace the water you sweat out.
Also, if you're anything like me, the added movement may be making you a hungry woman! I know that when I first start working out, I could eat everything in sight!
Then there's the subject of how many calories you are truely burning. I have found that the calculator on this site can be off. When the treadmill says I burned 75 calories, MFP will say I've burned 145. I take the lower number!
(Note: The calorie thing may just be me, I love the site Mike!!!)
It could be any combination of things, it could be TOM knocking on your door.....

Do you think that wearing a heart rate monitor is accurate? I put my weight height and resting heart rate in?
