low cal alcohol?

I am going on a weekend trip in a few weeks which will entail, among other things, several trips to the bar. We will be within walking distance of everything, our hotel has a mini fridge and microwave and small gym so I plan on utilizing all of those in order to eat better, save money and get in a work out or two. And I want to have fun, but does anyone know of any yummy drinks that are lower in calories so I won't totally trash my success thus far? Like which beer would be the best, and any suggestions for mixed drinks with lower calories? My favorite is long islands but I know they are loaded with calories. FYI, I am allergic to lime and pineapple, so I need to stay away from drinks with either of those two ingrediants! Thanks.
Oh, and my dad's girlfriend loves orange gatorade and coconut rum...I really liked it, but I'm wondering if it has a name and is something I can get at a bar. If I see her before then I'll ask her but does anyone know?

Crystal light and tequila? Low cal margarita?0
-
crystal light and vodka - called a sneaker.
also gin and tonic is only 90 cals.0 -
bacardi or bacardi limon and dt. soda or water...
delish!0 -
vodka, cranberry, water - just enough cranberry juice to add that tart flavor to match the vodka and the water will help a bit with hydration PLUS cranberry juice is better for you than pop
try the same thing with orange juice for variety. orange or cranberry juice are good for you
diet pop contains no calories so just mix vodka or rum with diet cola and thats only 60 calories a drink!
those are what i drink every time i go out, which is usually once or twice a week and i haven't had any problems. my diet is healthy and i've been steadily losing weight while still enjoying nights out. sometimes i find it hard to stay away from doing shots when out for a crazy night and usually those shots are sweet or creamy and have tons of calories so TRY to avoid and i'll try to follow my own advice haha0 -
Top 5 worst drinks:
1. Margarita in a pint glass (2 oz. tequila, 2 oz. margarita/sour mix, 1 oz. triple sec, lime juice, 1 tsp. sugar) - 550 calories (11)
2. Mudslide (1.5 oz. coffee liqueur, 1.5 oz. Irish cream, 1.5 oz. vodka) - 417 calories (8.5)
3. Long Island Ice Tea (1 oz. vodka, gin, rum, tequila, and triple sec, 2 oz. sour mix, splash of cola) - 380 calories (8)
4. White Russian (1.5 oz. vodka, 1.5 oz. coffee liqueur, 1.5 oz. cream) - 320 calories (6.5)
5. Piña Colada (1.5 oz. rum, 1.5 oz. coconut cream, 3 oz. pineapple juice) - 293 calories (6)
Top 5 best drinks:
1. Rum and Diet Coke (1 oz. rum) - 65 calories (1.5)
Tip: Use diet sodas as mixers, such as gin and diet tonic, diet 7Up and Seagrams 7, diet ginger ale and Jack Daniels, and so on.
2. Vodka and Diet Soda (1 oz. vodka) - 65 calories (1.5)
Tip: Try this with flavored vodka, such as raspberry, vanilla, or mandarin.
3. White Wine Spritzer (4 oz. white wine topped with club soda) - 80 calories (2)
4. Bloody Mary (1 oz. vodka, 4 oz. tomato juice, dash of Tabasco and pepper) - 90 calories (2)
5. Light Beer - 100 calories (2)0 -
basically avoid anything with sweeteners, including Smirnoff ices and the like.0
-
Michelob Ultra is only 95 cals per bottle.0

Good thing I don't go out much because I love 3 of the top 5 worst drinks.... And bummer about the smirnoff ices....like those too....:grumble:0

If you like wine, a 5 oz. glass of wine is about 100 calories.
Have a great time. Relax and enjoy yourself. You deserve it. Congratulations on your weight loss.0 -
If your a beer gal, then go MGD 64. it's a light ber with only 64 calories, hence the name, and pretty tastey.
If you like more fruity drinks, I like Absolute Pear Vodka with some lemonade and a splash of cranberry juice. At home I use Country time light, and a diet cran-grape juice.
Then again, any vodka will be lower in cals than other liquors. A Cape Cod is vodka with cranberry, just ask for no lime.
I love a bloody mary, too. Get your veggies in that way! Geez, I sound like an alcoholic now. :drinker:0 -

Be UBER Careful about the measurements! Most bars use at LEAST 2oz per mixed drink. basically, unless you are making these yourself, consider doubeling just about every caloric intake just to be safe.0 -
Try wine. I also go for vodka tonic. Also, if you mix any liquor with a diet soda, you're cutting all the calories from the soda at least and just consuming the liquor's calories. Avoid fruity and creamy stuff. Enjoy!0

my problem is every 3rd beer comes with fried mozzerella sticks!!0

Michelob Ultra is only 95 cals per bottle.
Ya know, I tried it bc it's uber low in cals and carbs... also low in taste, blech. :grumble: Tehere are a few light beers that re tasty, so stick with those, or just do straight shots instead! :glasses: :drinker:0 -
I wish barcadi still made Island Breeze which had 48 calories per serving and was delicious with sprite zero. :sad:0
