Just was watching Dr. Phil, he had a Dr. Mike Moreno on there talking about this? Has anyone gotten the book or tried it? Im guessing it's another "fad"?? but the people on there have lost crazy weight in just 17 days?? Im curious?

I saw it on Dr Phil too. Apparently the book is only available via online order. And they showed these people working out like crazy with personal trainers from Gold's Gym. If I had a personal trainer, I would be losing weight like crazy too! I think I'll keep my $45 and keep track of what I'm eating myself.0

My aunt is doing this currently. It's not just dropping weight in 17 days. It is 3 cycles of 17 days. It list the foods you can eat in each cylce and you work out 17 min a day.0

I haven't seen it...don't know anything about it. But here's the deal.
MOST people will lose crazy amounts of weight (5-10 lbs or more) in the first 2 weeks of a relatively healthy eating plan. Because most of it is water weight.
If it includes the word "diet" and there is any kind of time limit, it's a gimmick and will be temporary for most people - because don't you go off a "diet" at some point? Nuff said, IMO.0 -

I completely agree. There is no magic number of amount of days that your body needs to lose weight. Anything that has a number or a cycle or a phase is IMO a gimmick. Look on your bookshelves and see how many books you have with the word "diet" on it.
I know it looks appealing because they are dropping weight in big numbers for a short period of time but don't let them fool you. I can't stress enough how much of a gimmick these "diets" are.
SO sad that people will take advantage of others who are down and out.0
