Can someone answer a question?

When you work out and earn calories is the goal still to eat the calories with the ones you earn from exercise? I feel like if I do that I will end up eating 2000 calories. Isn't that too much?

    Yes, you should eat the calories back that you work out. If you work out enough to have 2,000 calories then that's what you need to eat. If you don't your body goes into starvation mode which makes it harder to lose weight.

    There are people who say to eat back your calories and some who say its ok not to. I personally do not eat back my calories, and I don't have trouble losing. My advice is if you don't want to eat back your calories then don't, but if you stop losing then try eating back your calories and see what works for you.

    Thank you for your help. Though I already find it hard enough to eat the suggested 1400 calories in a healthy way, I guess I will just have to keep eating.... :)

    Ok, let's put it this way...you should eat the NET amount of calories that you usually eat. For example, if your calorie limit is 1420 per day without execise and you burn 250 calories from exercise one day, it will say that your calorie limit for that day is 1670. However, your calorie limit is still 1420, but say you eat about 1300 calories worth of food that day...what it's really saying is that you only consumed 1050 calories since you burned 250 calories in exercise, so you need to consume back at least 150 of those calories you burned. Hope that makes sense...
