    I would try to find something attractive to comment on instead. Best be honest and hope they appreciate their 'smile' or other attribute and play it up.

    And some people don't photograph well, so if something comes through well - it's probably a true-to-life attribute as well.

    I wouldn't respond unless I knew the person. Beauty to me is an inner thing. I have called some of the most physically attractive people ugly to their faces because of there attitudes.

    But I do like creeping the pictures and see how messy the posters' rooms are or how spotty the mirrors are.
