So I am going to be at a music festival all weekend and I need some ideas on how to stay on track. This festival is a 2 day festival and will not allow outside food or drink to be brought in. Also I am allergic to aspartame so diet sodas are completely out of the question for me. Given that most of the food will be fair festival food can y'all give me any ideas of what to try to eat to keep from blowing my calorie budget? Any tips y'all can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Drink lots of water- that's just a good idea for a festival no matter what.
If there are burgers or grilled chicken, you could eat the patties with a pile of lettuce and tomato from the condiment area instead of fries.
That's honestly all I can think of. I hear fest and all I can think of is funnel cake.0 -
Thanks. The site has a bunch of vendors on it promoting its self as a Metal, Bourbon and Food Festival. Looking at the food vendors it looks like a whole bunch of junk food, pizza and what not. I just really want to behave myself and not blow it this weekend. I do have a weakness for junk food and bourbon I just really want to make better choices.0

I would just work on staying at maintenance not loss. A hotdog with mustard and onions for a meal suggestion. Another suggestion a slice of pizza, the slices are usually pretty big at events, if they r normal sized 2 slices.0

Are you driving in? Can you pack food in your car and go out of the festival to you car for lunch?
Are you camping overnight?
Either way lots of water, filling breakfast, avoid added salt and spend your time enjoying the music rather than the food!0 -
Dance like crazy and work off whatever you eat. Otherwise, go have fun. One weekend won't (or shouldn't) derail you. Get back on the horse on Monday.0

You won't want to binge while there so eat something filling before you go.
Drink as much water as you can fill your gills with.
Maybe look for foods like corn on the cob or a baked potato with salsa.
Don't be hard on yourself while there. You will actually want to enjoy yourself. Plan as best you can, it will come out in the wash.0 -
We are camping but according to the website there is no outside food allowed in and no coolers allowed in. I may try to smuggle a few non perishable items in the car.0
