OK, maybe not TOOO motivated. I'm not planning to compete in and bodybuilding contests or reality shows so I don't need Jillian Michaels yelling at me. I just want to find normal people who are on this weight loss journey that like me have lost, gained, lost, gained and are back on the path, AGAIN. I need tips on how to stay motivated and eat right and I want to have fun! I know what I need to do, I just need some people to hold me accountable and inspire me to keep doing what I should be doing! Help!!!!!

I'm with you, don't we all need inspiration and motivation. For me, it seems watching how others eating/doing help me knowing I'm not alone at all.0

I need someone too! In the last 5 years i have gained 100lbs in one yr lost 80 the next and gained about 40 in the last year or so. Just keep at it and track your calories even if you don't want to know how many you ate. You can do this!0

I can relate to a need for motivation. I started with this site a few months ago and walked away. I have been back for a month now and though I have lost a little weight, I have alot more to lose. Gaining all my weight in my adult years has been tough coupled with three pregnancies. My husband is supportive, but he did not marry this fat girl - she just evolved. Sometimes I think it will never come off and whether I should make my peace with that or channel that negativity into something else. Besides being a mother of three and a wife, I work full time and I am in school to complete my undergrad degree. If anyone has any advice on juggling things like this to make sure a workout takes place each day I would love any tips or tricks.0

Have you ever heard the saying, "If you need something done, give it to a busy person." You are a wife, a mother, a student and an employee. You definitely qualify as a busy person! The best thing you can do is make a schedule. I know it sounds kooky at first but schedule your workouts, your classwork, your date night! You may not always be able to stick to it but if you have a plan in place, you're more likely to stick with it! Too often we come home from work exhausted and can't get motivated to do a workout much less cook, spend time with our kids and do homework. If you have a schedule, and the family sees you respecting it, they will learn to respect it too. If they see you breaking it every other day, they will think that they can dictate YOUR time. You can get through this and you'll have days that are harder than others but in the end, you will be a role model for your family of how to attain your goal, whether its weight loss, your degree, or just a fantastic family! Feel free to friend me because I have definitely been where you are and you are not alone! :flowerforyou:0 -
You completely nailed it! Oddly, I have never really tried to write out a schedule. I am going to try that tonight, calendar items for walking at work maybe and plan out each evening to the letter. If that works I will be laughing all the way to the scale. It will be too funny if something so common to my work day actually let's me meet my goals outside of work. Thank you so much for the note and the vote of confidence!0
