So, its nearly 3 weeks that I've been doing this and nothing.

I mean, I used to eat all sorts of rubbish before as in snacks and fried stuff and loads of carbs. So surely, not eating any of that whatsoever would help me lose something. Im not expecting a drastic difference, but i thought I would have noticed a bit of a change at least... Am I doing something wrong?

  • No. Everyones bodies are different. I have been doing this four weeks and don't notice a difference and refuse to step on the scales. I look at it this way it might not help me now but down the road being helathier in general will help with everything don't give up its not supposed to happen over night if it did we would all gain it all back.
  • Not everybody is the same! Do you still feel "full" by the end of the day? In some cases the reccomended daily calorie intake may be higher than what your body actually needs (I know, this may suck...). Also, we don't realize how much "extra" uncounted calories we consume each day. Everything from the sugar packet you put into your coffee in the morning to the salt you add to your vegetables with dinner contains extra calories. You may just be in one of these situations! Also, if you are the type that who just starting working out you may be putting on the muscle and losing fat simultaneously, thus the weight remains the same. Hope this helps at all...

Do you skip meals? Or eat later? Try to get in the habit of eating a min of 3 meals a day about 4 hours apart. No eating after 9pm if you work a normal day. (times change for shift workers etc)
the biggest thing is don't worry about the scale. Worry about food choices and what you eat. The scale will always be there and take care of itself. Realize that to win the battle you need to attack it from what you eat, not what you weigh.
