Anyone out there Paleo?

Anyone have any Paleo recipes they'd like to share? I live in a dorm and don't really have access to coconut/almond flour or any kind of paleo flour, so the easier the recipe the better!!
My favorite at the moment is Banana Souffle in a mug:
1 Banana, mashed up
1 egg
2 tbsp sunbutter
2 tsp cinnamon
a pinch baking soda
1/4 tsp vanilla
Mix it all up in a mug and stick in the microwave for four minutes. Delish! I eat it every night for dessert.

I do something similar. Not sure if you have a stove top, but all you gotta do is....
Mash up 2 bananas, add in 2 eggs, a little bit of vanilla, mix up, pour in a pan, and make your pancakes this way.
I sometimes add finely chopped apples, or even Enjoy Life chocolates (just a little bit because I know they aren't totally paleo).
These pancakes are delish.
I bet you could do a similar mug thing with eggs, deli meat (without nitrates), or even some pedersens sugar-free bacon (says paleo friendly on the label), salt, pepper, and even some broccoli or spinach.. that would be a good breakfast, or even for lunch or supper, do the same but maybe put some cooked ground beef in the mug with the egg, etc.

I couldn't be 'paleo' for paleo's sake with a straight face; the extreme ignorance of human evolutionary history, general human anatomy/physiology, and our stand-out ability to adapt to our circumstances makes me cringe. That and the pure logic fail, plain and simple. However, it would be my diet of choice if I actually had severe sensitivities to the foods they avoid, as the diet itself isn't bad.
That said, I find the recipes to be rather yummy and like the www.nomnompaleo.com and www.againstallgrain.com blogs. I'm also going to look into the Well Fed and Well Fed 2 books. It's just that I'm not rich and can't afford to cook with ingredients that are $20 each, so I use the regular ingredients they typically sub for, like soy sauce instead of 'coconut aminos', freshly milled whole flours (e.g. wheat, spelt, kamut, sorghum, millet, buckwheat, amaranth) instead of coconut and almond flour, and cow's milk instead of various nut milks. I also can't afford organic, grass-fed, non-GMO everything, and honestly find the propensity to list those qualifiers in, like, 80% of the recipe titles to be rather pretentious. They're not shy about this diet not being for people who can't afford three spare vitamixes.
But yeah, unless vegetarian or vegan, I would guide everyone over to Michelle Tam's Nom Nom Paleo blog for an abundance of excellent recipes. She has the largest collection I've seen with the least amount of obscure ingredients. (I also have her book, which I wouldn't've bought had I known about her free blog beforehand.)
EDIT: Because of the nature of this site, I'll warn that Danielle(?) uses a lot of nut meals, nut milks, and coconut flour, among other very high-calorie ingredients, in her recipes. That's not inherently bad, but you'll want to be particularly vigilant with your calorie counting and serving sizes. Weighing the flours for the baked goods goes a long way with these extremely dense flours/meals.0 -

The banana pancakes rock, don't they? I have 3 browning bananas in my fridge... gotta make them tonight. That'll make me 2-3 meals of pancakes.
ETA, I try not to use flours so much (the holidays I will for baking) but to me, my body treats it like a bread no matter what and then I feel heavier later. Sometimes you want a treat, though.... can't wait for the holidays. I found paleo noodles for my chicken and noodles, as well as paleo pumpkin and pecan pies!0 -
Stupideasypaleo has a lot of good simple recipes. I am another nom nom paleo fan. I like to make a flourless frittata a couple of times a week. I went paleo to eliminate foods to determine intolerances as my allergies had gotten out of control. I am allergic to wheat. Not like a gluten intolerance/celiac reaction but more of a congested, sneezy, stuffy nose type thing. So, I now eat a few more things in moderation like high quality dairy and white rice. There are so many ways to make frittatas with or without dairy. I take different veggies and dice or shred and then throw in a protein and bake. I like that I can refrigerate and reheat for a couple of days and they are super economical and portable if you turn them into muffins. You can google paleo egg muffins or frittatas and gets tons of variation.0

I'm near-paleo due to food sensitivities happening to match up with it, and seriously, the best source of recipes I've found recently when I was in a rut has been pinterest. I've found SO much there lately.
Just get on and search paleo recipes, and there's thousands. Even better is if you do paleo recipe and then add on a main ingredient you want to use to the search. I really like it because since it's image based, you just get a nice set of pictures of food to glance through quickly, which made it nice to search for me.

I eat mostly paleo and I don't necessarily look for paleo recipes. I get inspired by world cuisine and I make substitutions. For example, yesterday I made beef Pho and I replaced the noodles by enoki mushrooms. It was delicious!0

I eat more primal than paleo but yes to all the sites mentioned. I also Mark sisson's stuff!0
