If you don't like where you're going, change your course!

Hi everyone! I have just completed my first week back on MFP! Back in 2012, I used MFP to help me lose over 30 lbs. Then I became pregnant with my son, and life got crazy after that. This year began pretty badly... My husband asked for a divorce, and my life seemed like it was spiraling out of control. Since January, I have put on 10 pounds in addition to the baby weight that didn't completely come off. I stepped on the scale and realized how close I was to where I started before, and decided I had to do something about it. I am a mom of a 5 year old girl, and 2 year old boy, a high school teacher, a Christian, and STILL a wife by God's grace! I'm so excited to be back at it, and changing my course back to healthy living. While I was gone from MFP, I was understandably deleted by many of my friends, and came back to find that many others had quit using MFP. I would love to have a great network of people for encouragement and support. Please send me a friend request with a message if you would be interested in joining my journey!

Thank you! So far things are much better. We have been married for over 8 years, and together for 14 total. Things are better now than they've ever been. :) I'm mentally much more prepared to get back on track with my health and fitness than I have been in a while. I'm excited to be working on it again. Already down 2.6 pounds this week!

2014 hasn't been the easiest for me either. Would love to help you reach your goals as I need the motivation myself.
