    OP just say hi again. Maybe tell him sorry for leaving when you first met him. I would ask him if he was has been to some super cool place in your city. Since he's new, he probably hasn't. You could then say "Oh, you have to go to that place, it's awesome! Hey, if you wanted to, I could show you some really fun and interesting places around here." It's pretty easy. :happy:
