Warm weather vs cold weather

I find I have way less cravings in cold weather than in warm weather. What's up with that? Anyone else feel the same?

it is the opposite for me, when it gets cold I crave all kinds of carb laden comfort food. Bring on the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese please!0

Same here!
Also, I am more motivated to work out when its colder
Here's to the changing of the seasons!0 -
I'm the opposite. I eat and workout a lot better in the warmer weather than the colder weather when all I want to do is lay in bed all day and eat.0

Fewer cravings, and a LOT more drive to exercise - the colder it is, the more delighted I am to get out there in it. Which means I get to EAT a lot more, too! It's a total win-win, and I feel genuinely grumpy during heat waves when friends are making cheery "woooo - summer workouts!" noises. i mean - great for them...but I'm a wilted mess of cranky food cravings.
Extra helping of Neanderthal DNA? Part Yeti? Who knows :-D0 -
I absolutely HATE the cold!!!! I need to spend a small fortune buying enough workout layers to just go out in it at all if it goes below about 60F. I have to keep my house at 74F and sometimes that's pushing it!0

I actually feel the opposite. As soon as it gets cold, I start eating non- stop...0

I wanna eat more in cold weather but I tend to fill up on soups, which is good. I don't go out socialising as much as in warmer months, which is when I usually gain weight (from alcohol, eating out).0

i eat more denser foods in cold weather yep-chii's, polish food, carbs and protein….yes indeed0

Yep that's me too. More motivation in winter and less cravings...I have no idea why0

I can't handle heat, I get sick. In the summer I usually don't eat much because I feel sick but in winter when it's cold all i want is a hot plate of comfort food.0

I think following a plan will be tougher in the winter. Some of my selections will have to change being seasonal.0

I wish I could hibernate for 4 months and wake up to warm weather. I love being outside in the sun.0

I love the sun as well its why summer is my have season….i do love the sparkle the snow has and the cool dusk of winter nights-but having that sun on my skin -such a great feeling
I also second the 74 degrees and pushing it, i can't have it even at 74…our heat is set at about 79 and snow isn't even here yet:) and we live in a small apartment so yea i like my summer sun0 -
Yes but think of all the ice cream you can eat in summer... Not that you couldn't eat it in winter to but it's more of a summer thing...0

opposite here. i want to eat more in the winter. in the summer dieting is easy all i want is sushi and other fish and fruit and raw veggies... and ice cream of course.
in the winter i want hot food, meat and carbs and fat...0
