Hi there I'm not sure if you had found any or not, but I just started taking the garcinia cambogia on Thursday and I just love it!
I'm also in Canada, Nova Scotia to be exact and I bought my bottle from GNC, it's a bigger bottle, made by SD Pharmaceuticals
500 mg, and 60% HCA. mine was in hot buy, so it was only 29.99 for 135 pills, regular price is around forty dollars ???? I hope
    This helps ????

Most of the before and after pics they use are people who never used the stuff and never authorised their photos to be used. I personally wouldnt go near the stuff.

I took a " leap of faith" with the Garcinia and have been using the Vitamin Shoppe brand for about a month. Having been a food junkie for all 64 years of my life, I think that I know what food cravings feel like. Before MFP I was probably eating 3000 to 4000 calories a day and for the last month I'm at 1200-1400 and the cravings just aren't there. I don't know if it does any 'fat blocking" mumbo-jumbo but it does seem to alleviate those feelings that would end up in binging. For me, it's a thumbs up/
  • I've been taking it for about a week now and have lost 2 lbs since i started taking it. I was already on a lower calorie diet and am exercising at least 5 times a week. However, for about 3 days now I've been urinating a lot more than usual (my water intake has remained the same since I began taking the Garcinia) which appears to be a good sign. No complaints. I am using the "Omegasoul" brand and cant say I feel gypped. I did as much brand research before i ordered and they seem to be pretty legit. I received my order within 48 hours and the price was reasonable.

Buy it in powder form from nuts.com. Only a few bucks for a whole pound. The quality of all of their products is great. I've been using the stuff for a few weeks and it really curbs my appetite and makes me feel full when I've hardly eaten. I think it improves my mood too -- less emotional/comfort eating! I eat when my body actually needs the calories. The thing is though, you have to take it consistently before meals; otherwise you might overeat again if you skip the garcinia, until you fully adjust to the habit of eating less. .
Really, give it a shot, but don't blow your money on expensive capsules. I dissolve 1/2teaspoon of the powder in a little bit of applesauce, almond milk, or a few ounces vegan protein shake (since the powdered garcinia settles in water/milk) 30-90 min before meals. Sometimes after that I don't even want to eat the meal for a couple hours! Overall it really helps me eat in moderation and small portions.

I would like to share my experience about Garcinia Cambogia.

Im a Mom , and its hard to get rid off my tummy after giving birth, I have taken many products but none has helped me.

I wont lie I've been working out, diet, and well I have not seen results, finally a friend of mine mentioned Garcinia Cambogia , I decided to try the product in an online ad of Niwali Garnicia, and the product is amazing, , I've been using the product only 2 weeks, and I'm starting to see results , It helped me reduce my appetite, now I feel my metabolism is working faster, and surprisingly, I have lose 1 /2 half pounds and starting to get the flat belly I've wanted.

    Fake.
  • How can a personal experience be fake ??

Judge for yourself based on your results and on not mines.

Try the product yourself, and you will be able to judge, plus, it's not only taking the product, its also hard work, exercise and nutrition!!!

    Good Luck!

My mom always falls into these things and tags me along. This stuff made me HUNGRY and EXHAUSTED! Did the exact opposite of what it said! I haven't been right ever since! I am assuming it threw something off in my body! I do NOT recommend it at all!

I have been taking Miracles Garcinia Cambogia and have already lost 4 pounds in 4 days! I thought it was a scam, but it is working really well so far. Being that I just started, I can't really say how well the results will be, but so far, I am more than thrilled!

No. Calorie deficit for weight loss and the body does a great job of cleansing itself, which is why we poop and pee.

    +1

Grrrr, fell for a resurrected post that probably should have stayed dead :grumble:

Has anyone hopped on this bandwagon? Any success stories?

I tried it when I'd first started my weight loss, because I was lured by the supposed appetite-suppressing properties (I was HUNGRY all the time since my stomach hadn't adjusted to a lower food intake yet). It did nothing. Nothing at all. Don't bother! It didn't affect me in any way whatsoever and I was just as hungry when I took it than when I didn't, and my rate of weight loss stayed the same.

The only decent appetite suppressants I've come across are caffeinated coffee (preferably with milk or half-and-half in it) and intense exercise.

Blargh, I fell for the resurrected post too. Maybe what I said will help somebody.

Honestly, it may be a placebo. But if I take a pill that makes me think I'm not hungry is that a bad thing?
  • Well........I've been taking Garcinia Cambogia for about 3 weeks. I don't have a scale so I can't say I lost weight. I can however say that today I put on the same jeans that I have to use a rubber band to expand the buttoning of the jeans.......NOT TODAY. I put them on and went for the rubber band, but it would not stay in place, so I buttoned my pants and could not believe that I had to get a belt. I know that nothing else had changed for me in the last 3 weeks except taking Garcinia Cambogia. I have been walking for about 45 min for years and it did nothing for me except clear my head. I will keep taking this wonder drug in my eyes anyway. Still will not go out and get a scale. But will go shopping for new clothes soon.

I went to GNC to buy garcinia cambogia when the rep talked me into buying the chews and hydroxycut sx7...i have lost SEVEN pounds in four days. Also when i eat i put my meal on a smaller plate which seems to help tremendously. I drink a glass of water before each meal and a 4oz glass of fat free milk after. My snacks are cantaloupe out during cheese with water. I feel better and more energetic already...i love it!!!

The placebo effect is wonderful, isn't it?

This stuff is pure crap. But, if you believe in it and subconsciously alter your eating and it works, go for it.

I am so damn sick of Dr. Oz and his fake paid endorsements.

also, thread is a few years old

    Why would you necro this.

You have to admit, it's kind of fun to look through the old fad diet posts and see all the names of people who are so excited that this is working for them….and who have never been heard from again.

Or will pay money for a placebo?

All it is is exactly what you said… a bandwagon, a gimmick, and a waste of money.
