Hey, everybody!

Hi, everybody. My name's Courtney, I'm new to this site.

I'm a sophomore in college and have been struggling with a complex form of an eating disorder for about four years, now. After a multitude of incidents and far too many burnt bridges, I finally came clean to my parents about it last night.

As a result, I am now planning on investing most of my time and energy into recovering the best I can, while trying to maintain my success in school.

I came here to log my daily intake and find as much support as I can so I can get through this. I'm always available to talk, especially to those looking to seek help for similar situations.

I'll delve more into my issue once I establish myself on here (probably in a few hours, I've been procrastinating on a 15-page PoliComm midterm paper, haha), so look out for that.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you all know that what all of you are doing - whether it's trying to lose, maintain, or gain weight - is difficult, but brave, and I support each and every one of you, no matter what.

Stay healthy and stay strong!

    Hi, Veronica.

Food recommendations are tough to make, when I don't know much about you, how much you're looking to lose, etc.

What I can definitely recommend is fruit and veggies. I love them - they're filling, and will not ever make you gain weight. Message me if you want a list of foods I eat and feel safe and happy with!
