Waist size getting bigger?

So for the past couple weeks, I've been losing weight still (although for the past two weeks, I've stayed at about the same weight), but my waist size was staying exactly the same. It was 78 cm for around 5 weeks, but I just measured myself after not doing so for about a week, and I'm up to 81 cm. I stayed at the exact same weight this past week, but my waist size got bigger. Is there a reason for this?

    There is only one possibility : you are pregnant.

    Waist size fluctuate with water retention, and just different times of day. It's not a static number.

    I would say 3cm is well within that range.
