I tend to love a good glass of RED wine.
I am just looking for a few more options depending on where I am and what is available.

My girlfriend loves Sapphire (or any other decent gin) & Soda water with a lime…it's about half of the calories of a glass of wine, so I've even been drinking them from time to time, too.

I opt for Guinness or wine, otherwise. TGIF, indeed!

    Bud Select 55

I'm a beer girl :drinker: when you compare the calories of one shot of anything vs. a 12 oz. 55 calorie beer :noway: hands down it makes for a wiser choice.

Straight whiskey, bourbon, or beer. Ok, none of these are really "low calorie", but if you're going to have a drink, have a drink. If you're going to have a beer, have a real beer, not any of that repulsive "lite" garbage they try to pass off as beer. Want a good beer which is also low in calories? Try Guinness :)

Only 1 thing better ......... 30 year Glenfiddich. Its like liquid Jesus.
  • It's not alcoholic, but it is so good, and really low cal... 4oz of Perrier (or other soda) water, 2oz of pomegranate juice, about 15 pomegranate seeds. Put in a nice wine glass and watch the seeds move around in the bubbles. So pretty and very tasty :drinker:

    Oh, a Skinny Pirate!!

    Diet coke and coconut rum,

1 oz. of rum- 54 calories
    diet coke- 0

 Granted I don't have these but once every so often, but when I am in a setting where we're all going to indulge, that's my go to drink.

The skinny pirate! 54 cals per oz. of rum. That's my fave :)
  • Tequila is the lowest calorie alcoholic beverage. I tend to only drink clear alcohols because the color from the aging bothers my stomach. So typically one ounce of clear tequila has a mere 46 calories (the next lowest alcohol is vodka with somewhere around the 80s.) A shot with lime or tequila, water, and lime juice tend to be my go-to drinks!

Try this link, my sister sent to me with some alternative cocktail ideas to lessen the calories it will also make you think twice before ordering those yummy ones like Margarita's which sadly is my favorite! With a splash of Blue Curacao - - although nothing can top a good glass of wine! Red or white which is why I will switch to the white wine spritzer probably! :) Happy Friday to everyone!!
  • I enjoy Admiral Nelson with Coke Zero or Pepsi max. I also like Burnett's Cherry Vodka with sugar free red bull. Admiral Nelson is only 69 calories an ounce and Burnett's cherry vodka is also only 69 calories an ounce and sugar free red bull is only 10 calories for the whole can. 0 calories in the pop.
