Good Morning,
I was just introduced to this website from my sister in law and it looks pretty easy to follow. I have never counted calories before so I hope on a good start.
I do not have a scale. Is it that important to weigh your self everyday or just once a week?
I would love to here some feed back.
Have a good day.

Hi and welcome! DO NOT weigh yourself everyday, it's not a good idea. Once every week or 2 is awesome. And take measurements every month or so too. You are going to love it here :flowerforyou:0

Hi Kate-
Glad you decided to join. So has your brother. We're motivated - both to exercise and to count calories, which really does help us think twice before eating. By the way, I sent you an e-mail here thru mfp.

Hi Kate. Good luck to ya!
My favorite advise is:
Weigh the first time at 6 pm. Log it
Never weigh yourself in the evening again, NEVER,...you will cry
Then weigh your self every week on the same day, in the morning (after potty break)
The 1st weigh in will give you a great motivation-It will be skewed a bit because you def. weigh more at night than 1st thing in the morning....but it feels good to see the big number.
Drink the recc amount of water, that is so important.
You will do great!!0 -
Thanks JoAnne,
Now I have to buy a scale. Yikes!!!!

Kate,
Don't buy a scale. You can have the one in boys' bathroom - no one here to use it. I'll bring it to Pop's tomorrow. Kev0 -
OK that sound great. :happy:0
