Today for breakfast I made this yummy overnight french toast, I loved it was so good, and on the plus my kids loved it too. I usually eat oatmeal so this was a nice change.
overnight french toast
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
4-6 slices of bread
3 eggs
1 cup milk
tsp vanilla

The night before melt butter, syrup, and brown sugar in a pie plate. Tear up bread into small pieces and layer on top. Mix eggs, milk, and vanilla. Pour over top, but do not stir! Cover and stick in the fridge overnight. In the morning, bake covered, at 375* for 40 miuntes. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes. Slice and serve wtih berries. (no syrup needed!) This is so nice, everybody can eat at once and only one dish to clean up!

I forgot to add the syrup when making mine, so it might be a few more calories if you add the syrup.
