Im new here. Im LOVING this site. I just started on Tuesday and Ive lost 3.6 pounds in 4 days. I guess i really didnt realize how much i was eating!! This site is a real eye opener!
Anyway, im looking for some weight loss buddies! So please add me, i need all the support i can get

Before I started MFP I thought I wasn't eating that much...I wasn't, it's just that the quality of what I was eating was bad.
MFP definitely makes you think about what you're eating and the quality-a real eye-opener!

I know what you mean... Im completly shocked at how many calories are actaully in the little things.... coffee creamer... a few peices of chocolate i would thow in my mouth, MILK, juice. ... definetly a real eye opener FO SHO!0 -
Ah! You sound just like me! I didn't think I ate that much, and really I didn't...but the fat/sugar/calorie intake on what I was eating was absolutely horrible...and WAY more than what I should have been taking in. Since joining 3 days ago I have already managed to lose 4lbs! (My ticker says 17, but that's because I had to do a weight adjustment and found out I was 13lbs lighter than I had thought).
It's awesome to see so many people understanding of what others are going through and there are so many great people to make this adventure to the new you an eventful, and successful one!

For me, it was cheese. I used to put cheese on EVERYTHING, I knew it wasn't GOOD for you, but geez I didn't realize just how many calories was in such a little bit!0 -

cheese is a huge downfall for me as well. i throw cheese in recipes that don't even call for it sometimes!!! Guess that's got to stop, huh?0

I have had the same overeating issues too! For me it is all those "nibbles" and "bites" and "just half a piece more". When I actually make myself write down everything that I eat it was so much more!
