Hi everyone!
Just thought I'd put my two pennies in and say hi.
Never been on anything like this before.
2011 and a new leaf.. Sort of!
So just thought I'd keep this as a sort of "starting" post.
Don't wanna go the gym so using:-
-Myfitnesspal iPhone app.. That's how I found all this..
-Xbox kinect with "Your Shape" fitness game at home.
That's it! And see how we go?!
Been on two weeks.. Starting at 237lb and lost 7lb so far!
Currently 230.4.. Target of 175!
Ta..

Current weight 230.4

awesome O_O. I'm going to do the same with the Playstion move when I get it in a few weeks. Keep up with the good work0

I'm doing Wii too...they just came out with Wii Zumba, so I'm pretty excited to go buy that (next week when I get my taxes) and Mon-Fri I do a regular workout of 10 min kickboxing, 10 minues pilates, 10 minutes Meringue Dancing, then 300 Ab Crunches...all done in my livingroom! Fortunately, my cable company has finess on demand and it's all free! Keep up the good work!0

Hey there!
Wow! 7 lbs is amazing in two weeks! This can really open your eyes on how much you eat and move everyday. Keep up the good work!

Hi.. Me again.
Just a quick warning regarding wii fit.
Was using wii fit on and off in 2010.
There is nothing wrong with exercising on it.. In fact it's great for that.
But be warned that the wii fit board is not 100% accurate when it comes to weigh in's!
It's all over the Internet and I experienced it too.. It took off 2lb one day..
Then added 5lb the next day?!?!
I have a £20 pair of salter scales.. And they are much more accurate.. To within 100 grams!!
My own personal experience is that the wii board is fine for exercise and general weighs..
But if you want accuracy, get digital scales as well!
The Xbox kinect "your shape" can't weigh you but it can SEE you..
So there is definitely no cheating when it comes to wide stances and low lunges!! Haha
Right.. Rant over! :-)0 -
Hi!
Your intro hopped out to me as I'm a geek. Though, I'm quite comfortable using weights and whatnot.
The Wii board is accurate enough to be used in some hospitals and retirement homes. I'd recommend not getting overly hung up on how many decimal points your scale is accurate to. Digital scales have had a long history of being inaccurate, anyhow. (Debating scales. How geeky is that?)
The rub using the Wii Fit and so on is that you'll eventually hit a wall. But it's great to start with, and damned fun to top it off.
Um, anyhow, hi!0 -
Hello from another Music Junkie.
Very cool, that "Voice Jam" app. Spent a little time on your YouTube.
Good luck to you on your goals and feel free to chat at me anytime.0
