My name is Katie. I am 25, a wife to an amazing man and mother of 1 to an awesome little boy. I have been blessed in many departments of my life. One of which would be having great parents, meeting my husband sooner than later (20 years old) and starting a family earlier than most. The thing I was not blessed with was the ability to lose weight FAST. My fat stores in my lower body which turns into cellulite. =( Things could be way worse I know, but when you are young you want to wear a bikini and WALK in FRONT of people and not worry that they are staring at your "cellulite".
I started my journey May 2009 (2 months after my son was born). To make a long story short I weighed 160lbs when I got pregnant, 201lbs when I delivered my son and I currently weigh 137lbs. All of this took time and my weight loss did NOT fall off. I was the girl who had to workout HARD and eat CLEAN. For 7 months I didn't go out, tried really hard not to leave my house and worked out between naps and daily duties.
I feel that actually being overweight (201lbs) scared me. I know I was pregnant, but having the feeling of not being able to put socks on, catch my breath at a medium pace walk. These things scared me. I was scared that if I didn't lose my weight my life would miserable. That fear pushed me. I describe the feeling as a roller coaster ride. While on it, you are affraid of the heights, loops, etc. You may hold your breath, scream, tremble & maybe even get sick, LOL. BUT...at the end of the ride you are still alive and breathing. You have accomplished something that scares the crap out of you, BUT YOU DID IT!
Weight loss is a journey. Its never ending and its always there to haunt you if you stop working. I am here to help. My journey is at the end and no I am not a personal trainer or nutritionist. I can only suggest things that worked for me and hope they do the same for you. I am however apart of Beachbody. I am a coach, which is something I decided to do to help 'give back and pay it forward'. I want to "END THE TREND". Hopefully someone can relate to this feeling and maybe I can help YOU start your transformation.
Below are my B4 and after pictures.

I know I've said this, but you really are an inspiration for someone like me... looking at your before and after pictures really shows me that I can do this, and I can stop using the excuse that I'm just one of the bigger boned, chubbier girls.0 -
You have an incredible figure! Excellent job on what you've done so far - you completely deserve it for your hard work!0

Way to go, you look absolutely amazing!
I'm happy to see that not all other young mamas just "bounce back" right after giving birth...my son is two and I still am working on bouncing back lol
You've totally given me something to aspire to :bigsmile:0 -
Absolutely LOVE this post! Thank you for sharin'..xo0

Your pics are amazing! I've done P90X, Insanity, Jillian Michaels, and Spartacus workouts, but my thighs and butt seem to refuse to go away (they're being very stubborn which I guess they got from me ). I heard about Brazil Butt Lift and just got it in the mail; after seeing your pics I can't wait to get started!!0

I was just wondering if you had any stretch marks from your pregnancy? I don't see any, but sometimes it is hard to see them on the pics. I do (faded now) and don't think my stomach will ever be able to look like yours.0

What an inspiration, thank you for your post. Do you have suggestions for me, I'm stuck at 150, I can't run because of my knee pain...would the P90X be too much for my knees? They pretty much just hurt when I run (already saw my doc about it) I do jillian michaels dvds & the workouts don't bother me...things like mountain climbers, squats, jump rope...it's just the running that gets me. Sorry, it's just frustrating cuz I love to run & can no longer do it. Thanks , Tam0

Wow, you look like a completely different person! I have BBL, but I havent tried it yet! I am working on completing Turbofire.
Did you do P90x and BBL at the same time? Or did you finish one program and then start the next?
You look great! and your stomach looks amazing, you cant even tell you are a mom!0 -

It's nice to hear a story where someone didn't start at a twig and just tone up. Those stories make it feel impossible to accomplish what I want to do. This is the first time that I have worked out to build muscle, I was always so scared I would bulk up so I would stay on the eliptical or treadmill for hours. Now I'm doing squats, lunges, etc and really targeting my trouble areas (butt/thighs). You are so inspiring and your positive attitude and motivating quotes really help get me through the rough days!0

Thats my Beach Body Coach!!! She is great! Very nice and always responds to be quickly. I am grateful I have someone who is helping me reach my fitness goals!0

Amazing story!
I myself am I little scared to start an at home work out program (in fear I will not keep up with it). Do you recom. anything one program that can help me get started? think with being on mfp I will hold myself accountable.
The gym is sometimes hard to get too since they have limited childcare services.
Thanks for sharing your story.0 -
If you can do everything but run, then P90X will be just fine. If you get ready to order message me and I can help you find your way to the right place which will make ME your coachWhat an inspiration, thank you for your post. I also am 5'7 and have the horrible dimples in my thighs. I only weigh 142 currently but fit in a size 9-11 because I carry all my weight below. I am currently doing Zumba and will add in some Barry's bootcamp as soon as I get it back from a friend. My goals for doing this is to just be in better shape and hopefully start running races this summer. You look amazing and good job on sticking with it.0
