5yrs after gastric bypass

So here I am, 5 full years after gastric bypass. 5 1/2 to be exact. I lost 130lbs from that surgery, but over the years added about 15 back. Over the last few months I've lost 20lbs again. Although I'm not at my goal weight, my focus is starting to move to fitness. Tightness, really. I've had no plastic surgery to get rid of my saggy skin. I know it won't all go away, no matter how fit I were to get, but I know it can at least be improved. Another motivation? My very good male friend, who grabbed my leg and said "your not fat, just gooey". Yeah... really... and he is still my friend! I can't really get mad; that's what good friends are for - to tell you the truth.
So here I am. On this website for all of 4 days now. So far I am LOVING it! I have yet to NOT find a food in the database. Store brands, chain establishment, energy drinks, even gum and alcohol! That's good, 'cause all that stuff is in real life. And knowing that I've committed to really logging each and every thing that goes in my mouth, it has already started to help me not do one of my worst eating habits - grazing! Seriously, I could go all day without eating a "meal", but still end up swallowing thousands of calories. But like I said, knowing I would have to come back here and log it made me stop and think "how the heck am I gonna log that cornbread muffin from the pot luck table if I don't know how they made it?" HAHAHA.. hey, whatever motivates, right?
However, I do have a pretty bad case of the lazies, too (no doubt, contributing factor to weight issues, duh). My vice is complacency. It's always been easy for me to walk away from internal challenges. I give up. But something feels different to me right now (and I hope it lasts). Maybe I'm just tired of it. Maybe I'm finally at a motivating weight that makes me feel like the work would be worth it (At 300lbs it really didn't). I'm not sure what it is, I just want it to stay.
So, that's me and where I'm at right now. Wish me luck. Give me tips. Keep me engaged. I'm striving to do the same...

I haven't had the gastric bypass (though a few people in my family have), however I did manage to lose over 100 pounds on my own. My problem is the same as yours. I have the saggy skin that I just don't know how to get rid of. I'd like to tighten it up (mainly around the thigh area and lower abdomin) but I'm having a difficult time doing that because I'm just not sure what type of exercise to do for it or if it's just too late to even attempt. Good luck on your mission! If you come across exercises that seem to be working for you please let me know!0

@mfcisthatyou - Those are my EXACT problem areas. I mean, the upper arms ain't great either, but I could totally live with that. It's the inner, upper thighs and lower abdomen. I think that due to the stretching out, it will never naturally be tight; i believe that could only happen with surgery. However, there HAS to be some room for improvement. And until I hit that Million Dollar Lotto and can afford the total body lift, I'm gonna have to settle for the old fashion way of shaping up! LOL0
