Hello - I'm new to this site today and am really determined to lose some weight this year. Have tried them all and just spent 2 weeks on the Dukan diet - has anyone tried it?? OMG if I see another egg I think I'll scream. Have lost 10 lbs but having only eaten protein for what seems like a year it's not a surprise. I thought I'd be craving bread but actually my craving was for vegetables - of any sort!!! So inspired by my new love of the green stuff, I thought perhaps this was the year that I could calorie count and actually, for once in my 50+ years, eat healthily.....maybe eating healthy, exercising and all that jazz MIGHT actually work...............:wink:

    Hey, I had a few friends who went on the Dukan diet. And they had protein coming out of their ears! They lost about 5kilos for the first two weeks or so? but they couldn't sustain the diet and ended up falling off the wagon. I think diets like that are a great start into losign weight, but it should definintely be a long healthy diet so that you wouldn't totally fall off the wagon.
