Welcome. Try joining some of the challenges here, I know they help keep me on track. Or you can always start one of your own and have others join you. I wish you the best of luck on reaching your goals!!!0

What kind of challenges are you referring to? And thank you, I wish you continued success in being a "loser"! I want to be a "loser" too!0

Having the support of your MFP buddies can be quite motivational. You can do it! We all have faith in you and you are going to look awesome at your daughter's grad. Add me as a friend and we can support each other too if you like0

Some of the challenges I have seen and joined here are: lose 10 lbs in a month, exercise to lose 3500 calories a week, walk "x" amt of miles a week or month, some do 24 hr challenges and set mini goals for each day ie: drink 8 glasses a water a day, burn 500 calories a day, etc. , then there are ones for the different exercise videos and games. The key to all of these is you are checking in with others on a daily or weekly basis, so it helps to keep you motivated because you have to account to others for what you are doing. I just finished up a challenge for Jan. and am looking for an new one for Feb., because I know on the days I didn't feel like exercising or wanted to eat something I shouldn't I knew I was going to have to account for it.
The other thing is to make sure you are logging all your food and exercise, that helps keep you accountable. And have supportive friends on here that cheer you on. I know when I post my exercise, food logs, weight loss it really feels good and pushes me to keep at when I get positive feed back from others.0 -
will keep it short! How about trying something new. How about not using MFP as a social network but focus on living a healthy life mentally and physically. Instead of asking for help; learn how to be healthy and set an good example then others will want to know more about how you did it. Become a resource and motivator to others then you will not need to be motivated. All real motivation comes from within persons themselves if it is to have an lasting effect. Believe in yourself and then others will believe in you. You can do it if you have the real desire to be healthy.0
