A small victory......

....but I'll take it!! I started with MFP back in May `10 when I did a 4 wk bootcamp.....Since then, I`ve worked out on and off and kept my calorie tracking in mind, but wasn`t always 100% dedicated to my new lifestyle (only losing maybe 3-5 lbs a month). Well, when January 2011 came around I decided it was time to get serious......I cut out all (obvious) sugar from my diet......which for me being a sugar addict, was a HUUUUGE deal, and I bought some videos to work out at home with (biggest losers, leslie sansones). Im so excited to say that I lost 11 lbs :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: over the course of Jan and I cant believe it!!!!! I tried not to weigh in for the month, since I wanted that big number at the end and it was totally worth it!! :happy: :happy: :happy: My next goal for February will be to continue with the no sugar and add in no deep fried foods.....baby steps, right! lol
I wish everyone on here the best of success in your journeys and now I really believe it CAN be done and I CAN reach my goal!!!!!!!! Who knew diet and exercise was all it takes.......lol lol Thanks MFP for helping me get there.........

Great work, and by the way I don't think your goal (per your profile page) is by any means "shallow". Embrace that goal and rock that 2-piece next year. Keep up the good work.0

11lbs in a month is a great victory. Small or not, it's a victory and you should definitely feel very good about what you've accomplished.0
