Any other pepperheads/hot chile-lovers in here?
I'm on the extreme end of that, loooooove spicy hot food...and of course, I've gotta throw in the fact that foods containing capsaicin are great for adjusting your metabolism, lowering blood pressure, and tons of other benefits

I'm sure I'm not as extream as you are but I love spicy food hot peppers and hot sauce...not to mention my teenager is obsessed with Blair's Death Sauce products. He'll put it in everything but icecream or cereal.
I love thai spicy dishes and adding jalapenos to what ever I can get away with...like my burger tongiht...yum!0 -
I'm a pepperhead.chili lover too! Got any good recipes to share?0

I'm trying to become more of a spicy-food fan because of the metabolic boost. Also, I live in Texas so there's plenty of hot peppers, Tex-Mex, and spicy BBQ to help me out! Although it's not the hottest thing out there, I really like Sriracha on a lot of foods now.0

Ooooo yes, on burgers is great!
cher...yes, take a bottle of Dave's Insanity Sauce..dump it on everything! lol heheh :P Nah, I actually do have some spicy recipes, I'll dig 'em out and post em soon0 -
I am happy to share soem of my recipies too. I love rachel'S ray Black Bean Stoup. I uasually add more jalapeno. The recipe calls for hot sauce so you can add whatever you like.
I love jalapenos in my corn bread (when I eat corn bread) and in my burger...beef or turkey. And in my breakfest burritos too!0 -

Jalepeno cornbread, with red beans and rice..mmmm, BAD, but so good.0 -
Texas has the best food! I've lived up north (PA and WI) about 1/3 of my life, and while they have some good stuff, nothing beats the cuisine in the Lone Star State!0

Absolutely, I agree!
I'm in Florida now....awesome mix of spanish/carribbean types foods here, but nothin' like good 'ol Texas food!0 -
You've got another TEXAS Pepperhead here.0

I do love me some spice. I put ghost pepper sauce on pretty much everything, though my favorite spicy dish is still red thai curry tofu. If I'm not sweating, it isn't hot enough.0

just looked tonight and franks has zero calories...how awesome is that ???0 -
New Mexico chile head here. Red AND green! I can leave a jalapeño behind (except for in guacamole) but we buy roasted green big Jim's and red Sandias in bulk. In fact, I need another 30# bag ASAP. The freezer is empty!0

Franks hot wing with the sauce baked on until dry are the BEST! We use thighs sometimes, too.0 -
