I tried using myfitnesspal.com some time last year and didn't stick to it - that was after quite a while on WW that saw me drop from ~175Kg to 145Kg.

Well, guess what? It's nine months later and I'm back up to 175Kg again, so I thought I'd give this another go and see what happens.

So far I've managed to lose 1.4Kg in my first week (3lb in old money) which is amazing considering the number of times I fell off the wagon and ordered Dominos, so I strongly suspect that's all water. Here's hoping I manage to do better this week!

Anyway.. just thought I'd stick my head in and say hi!

  • Not that anyone replied last time ;) But .. four weeks in and I've shifted 4Kg - not bad, I suppose! Especially considering I gave in to temptation more than a couple of times in there, had a weekend away (which entailed healthy food and a lot of exercise, but also rather a lot of beer!) and a couple of evenings out..

    It might have been more had I not given in to pizza last night :( Oh well .. next week will be better! It would be really nice to make it 10Kg in 8 weeks..

    Managed to stay on track the last couple of days and be extremely good even when I got home late from work tonight (damn them for buying us a pool table! Many hours will be lost there..) - grilled a chicken breast with Piri Piri seasoning, did a bunch of salad stuff and some home made chilli potato wedges with some Levi Roots Reggae Reggae sauce on the side.. very nice, although my lips are now on fire from all the chilli! :)
