I just wanted to remind myself and everyone else to not let the scare bring your motivation down. I worked just as hard at the gym and ate just as strict as week one and two yet i lost nothing. I was so nervous to step on the scale this morning and see the same or worse results despite keeping up with my routine but to my pleasant surprise i was on track again... 8lbs down 42 to go!

awesome! I'm scared of the point when I step on the scale and not see results ... that's always been the point in the past that I lose my motivation. But I'll just have to keep on keeping on!0

Yes, I agree. I never let that scale get me down because I am know that I am doing everything right to improve my health.0

This is week 2 on here for me and lost 1lb each week. Today was the first time in a long time I was nervous about weighing myself. I think that is since I really want to lose and am afraid I won't. Its so nice to see the scale go down again though.

My scales stopped showing a loss whenever I ramped up my exercise...building muscle means burning fat. I can deal with that as long as I am shrinking. What makes me know that the scale isn't a true indication of my success is the inches lost to date. I cleaned out my closet over the weekend and got rid of everything that was a size 2X, 1X, 18, 16 & some 14s. That was the BEST feeling ever! I don't care if I stay at my current weight as long as I am healthier, happier and able to wear a smaller size over time.
This is a very interesting article about how the scale lies! http://marckent.com/288/why-the-scale-lies/0 -
I'm scared every time I weigh. I seem to be stuck lately on the same number. But I know if i keep doing the right thing it will move again!0
