Hey, I'm Kayleigh, I'm 22 and currently on a diet.
At 5"2 I started off at 10 stone 3lbs and that was January 2010. I lost my appetite completely for two weeks and the weight difference was huge. I lost about 8lbs in those 2 weeks and only then I realised that I was 'slightly' overweight. Just before the appetite loss, I quit smoking and used chewing gum and lots of water to curb the food cravings and so from then on I only drink water and no fizzy juice!

I'm not on a speedy diet or anything so now after a year (with no exercise :o just a diet change and I'm seriously lazy!) I weigh 8 stone 6lbs as of a few days ago. My lowest weight so far was 8 stone 4lbs a few weeks ago but that screwed up after a nice holiday!

Anyway, I'm here to find some friends to add to my iphone app.. I'd like to see how I'm doing in comparison to others and also get some ideas on healthy-ish snacks and other things to eat.

I think a stone is equal to 2 bricks, which is the same as 200 pebbles.

A stone is just another unit used to measure weight. There are 14 pounds in a stone.

    Sorry, I weigh 118 lbs :)
  • British people usually weigh them selves in stones, there are 14lbs in a stone so 140lbs would be 10 stone :)

Well, it is true! You do learn something new every day! I think I like weighing myself in stones instead of pounds. It sounds less!
