Day 2 of mfp

This is my 2nd day on the calorie count and I gotta say I'm hungry, but I've been checking out some of your posts and I think You all may be just what I need.

  • I'm quite a bit in... and I think I often feel hungry because I think about it. For example, I often crave KFC... but then when I was a little naughty (hehe) and actually ate some it didn't make me feel very good. Filling my snack times with water, fruit and yogurt does the trick ;)

    This is why I wish more people had "open" food diaries so we could all get some more ideas!

    I just started this tonight--found it from a co-worker. Seems like it may be something to really help me. I did not realize though that fruits had so many calories, I really like fruit and thought it would be a good substitute to help with my hunger. three little clementines= 105 calories--really?

    Not all fruits are that high in calories. A good sized Granny Smith apple, for instance, has 80, which isn't bad. You just gotta experiment with different foods, and switch it up a bit.

    From another Lori! I just started MFP 2 weeks ago. I have lost 13 pounds. I have been on every diet there is, and I like this because I don't have to pay anyone. It keeps in check. I have 3 other friends doing it wieh me. That helps for motivation. You can do it, just give it a try!! Good Luck! :)
  • Thanks sooo much, it is a boost for me to know other people are having success with this program. I really like it so far, but I am having trouble managing my calories-I snack too much- I hope I make it !:smile:
