Doing so, so, well but the last couple days I want to each everything but the kitchen sink.....and would eat that if it was made out of sugar or chocolate!
HELP, HELP! I need to get back on track!
Advice from anyone who loves the sweets when they are stressed or anxious.
Things are going really well in my life and when I make a change or something happens that is great or exciting, I want to eat because it makes me feel good/relieves the anxiety for the moment. I recognize this but have a hard time stopping it.

I've had to stop buying junk while grocery shopping. No sugar, no soda , no chips or candy or even skinny cow ice creams. My theory is if I want it bad enough I will have to get up off my lazy but, get dressed and leave the house to go get it. 9 times out of 10 I will find a healthy solution, fruit mostly to curb my craving. Im not saying its not fool proof but its much harder to binge when its not readily available.0

I suspect everyone gets those days when we just can't stop eating, I know I do and sweets is my downfall too. I have found that having a bag of Hershey's semisweet chocolate ships around helps me through those times. I measure out a couple of tbsp in a cup and then one at a time let them melt in my mouth. Works for me, may help you too, hope so. I don't let those backward steps derail me though, gonna have those bad days. But have to buckle down and work on getting a few good ones in a row. You can do it too!0

If it's in the house, throw it out. Just get all the junk and throw it in the bin. If you feel as if you can't portion control then out of site out of mind.
Also, try to take out your frustration on somehwere else other than food. Workout, go see a movie with a friend, call someone close or simply remove yourself from the situation.
I know it is hard to get back on track. I had about 4 days last week where i was about 400 cals over my limit in a row. It helps to know that although you have gotten off track, a few days will not undo your hard work. Don't give up and keep going.0 -
I personally find that if I was to deny myself all things good I would fall of the wagon! If i really need a chocolate boost I have skinny cow mini choc dippers at only 65 cals or chocolatey alpen bar at around 79 cals. I guess it depends if you think that would curb it at only one...for eg, if I had a few malteasers I would have to eat the bag as there sooo sweet!0

One thing that works well for me is a cup of Options hot chocolate - it comes in various flavours and has under 40 kcal per 11g made with 200ml boiling water. As it's very hot, it certainly takes longer to consumer than a bar of chocolate, and tastes just as satisfying!0

and below 26... well this is where we get fuzzy. See now you're no longer talking about being overweight, so while it's still ok to have a small deficit, you really should shift your focus more towards muscle tone, and reducing fat. This means is EXTRA important to eat your exercise calories as your body needs to KNOW it's ok to burn fat stores, and the only way it will know is if you keep giving it the calories it needs to not enter the famine response (starvation mode) "0 -

I'm eating quite a bit, exercising a lot and feeling pretty good generally. I think it's because I start a new job in less than three weeks and I get stressed/excited and want to eat to aleviate it.
I am doing well so far today - with all the crapload of snow, I've shovelled heavy snow for about 40 minutes and worked out this morning on the elliptical for an hour so back on track.

One thing I enjoy thats sweet is fat free yogurt.. Its a low calorie snack and tends to curve my appetite for sweetness.. Also eating something like walnuts or almonds may help curve your feeling of hunger0
