No-bake chocolate-peanut butter (or almond-butter) balls
Makes 4 balls

Ingredients
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
2 teaspoons chocolate chips
1 Tablespoon peanut butter or almond butter
1 teaspoon honey

Directions
Mix oats, chocolate chips, peanut butter or almond butter (might need to microwave 5 seconds to make it easier to mix) and honey. Mix, then divide into four sections. Press into balls and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (can also be placed in the freezer for a few minutes).

    Now that sounds yummy I am definately going to try these. Love it that people share some of their receipes makes it easier for those of us who are not so good at the cooking.

    That's like how my protein 'bars' turned out – similar ingredients as well. They are more of a ball since they don't harden the same way commercially processed ones do. I got the recipe from a thread here on MFP and don’t recommend it unless you like eating goo – fortunately I’m ok with it ;)

    What type of peanut butter did you use?

    When I make them with PB I use regular Kraft smooth PB and when I make them with AB I use Maranatha Natural AB (no salt, roasted).

    Made them this morning, I quadrupled the reciepe to make 12 balls- but ended up with 15 so 45 cals each. Yummy- perfect little sweet treat.

    My Mom used to make no bake peanut butter balls w/ wheat germ, natural PB, and honey!! My brother and I LOVED them as a kid!!
