  • I have the same problem finding stuff that doesnt go bad after a few hours. I like walnuts (not really low cal but high in omega 3), hard boiled eggs, apples are some of my staples. Sometimes I'll take a protein shake/smoothie in a bottle. I dont eat those cereal bars either - may as well have a cookie! As far as vegetables, cucumbers cut up or celery with some light cream cheese or PB, and some cherry tomatoes. maybe some greek yogurt too.

Hummus and salsa with crackers or carrot sticks
    string cheese
    yogurt
nuts (almonds are my favorite right now)
    apple sauce
    fresh fruit and veggies
    hard boiled eggs
tuna fish and or on salad
    chicken salad

vegetables and fruit can last you all day
    celery and peanut butter
    grapes
    bananas
salads with dressing on the side
whole grain breads with veggies or hummus

and for the junky: pudding cups can be really low cal

oh, those tunas in individual serving size cans are really good too, and they come in so many different flavours. I would do that and some grainy bread or pita.
