So I found this information in my ChaLEAN Extreme book and wanted to share.

Women's Estimated calorie needs for weight loss:

100-120lbs: 1200 calories/day
121-150lbs: 1300 calories/day
151-180lbs: 1400 calories/day
181+ pounds: 1500 calories/day

Men's estimated calorie needs for weight loss:

130-150lbs: 1400 calories/day
151-170lbs: 1500 calories/day
171-190lbs: 1600 calories/day
191+ pounds: 1700 calories/day

    That holds water for me- when I let my net drop under 1300, I had a hard time losing. I'm 145-148ish right now

    Do you know how much food I would have to eat to NET 1800 calories on a day I run 7 or 8 miles?? lol

    Ok..so I'd have to net 1,500 calories instead of 1,200? I thought I had to net at least 1200 according to mfp. I hate this calorie thing! :sad:

    When I increased my calories to 1500 a day I started losing and I am no longer starving to death lol I am also breastfeeding so I need a pretty delicate balance of calories

    if you are under 1200 calories after your workout, then you are starving yourself
