.....but not new to dieting. Started out young overweight, always about 30 lbs overweight. Went on my first diet in highschool and been on one ever since. I know all the tools just need motivation to using them. In the past year I have hit a point where I just can't get rid of those last ten pounds or so. So I figured on top of going to the gym 5+ days and eating pretty healthy, maybe getting really strict on my calorie intake would help. Any suggestions to something that would help would be great. Oh, and i think age may have something to do with it to.lol

Hi there - fairly new too (4 weeks in to it now). This is a very supportive site! Feel free to friend me and we can cheer each other on:)
  • Although you look young, age does play a part. When I was forty I lost pretty quick but now it takes a little bit longer!:frown:

Thank u and congrats on your 31 lb loss
  • I have been dieting for years too, I was really good at going to the gym and staying on a strict diet for a few weeks and lose a ton of weight but then I would stop and gain it all back on plus more. So now I am losing weight as a life style change. I still eat what I want but I just watch my portion size, and I try to walk everywhere and always take the stairs. The weight is coming off and hopefully will stay off because I am changing my life style not going on some fab diet. I hope this helps for advice.
