I am going to an all inclusive resort for just over a week. I need some reminders of what to avoid and what to indulge.

I plan on trying to be fairly active while I am there. swimming, snorkeling, walking, maybe some exercise classes. but I am sure I will do my fair share of lounging pool and beach side as well.

I love fruit and veggies, so no problem there. But, unlimited adult beverages...?!?
I know, stay away from the creamy, icy ones for the most part!
:flowerforyou:
I will be extremely happy if I can maintain while I am there!

    Idulge in activity!

Indulge in the beauty of your surroundings and the love of the person you are with.

Ask your servers to hold the sauce, only grilled food, etc. you know the old song and dance.

As far as the adult beverages go
I know its vacation----maybe consider an occasional rum and Diet Coke with a splash of lime. Definitely stay away from froo-froo drinks---girl they are calorie and carb loaded. Those will make you hurt in more ways than one.
  • I just got back from Barbados a few weeks ago. I lost five pounds while I was there. I ate small meals during the day and usually a fish dinner with normal sides. They usually have a good selection of foods to choose from. Remember moderation. Your on vacation right? Enjoy it. Don't stress about what your going to eat. If you can't live life once in a while what's the point. Just know your food groups and remember moderation. Good luck and enjoy. Let us know how it goes.......
