Ok so my new Optimum Nutrition protein powder came today, and I cannot for the life of me locate the scoop!!!! I've even been digging around in there with tongs with no luck.
So in the event I can't find it, how much powder does one of those scoops hold?

The label should tell you how many grams a serving is. So, you could just weigh out a serving.0

Most scoops in protein powders are either 1 TBS or 2 TBS.0

I don't know about yours but my scoop is about 1/4 cup. Some do it in TBSP though.0

That's what my old protein powder's measurement was.
I guess I'll keep digging! It's gotta be in there somewhere. They really should just tape it on the inside of the lid or something. All the jostling around during shipment etc buries them!0 -
My optimum nutrition says a serving is 31 grams/scoop.0

try dumping into a plastic bag then maybe you'll find the scoop. Mine is 27g but it looks like 1/4 cup. It's the pure protein with JM on the cover. Good luck.0

I had the same problem LOL but my scoop didn’t come in at all... it says on the box thou that 1 scoop equals 27g so I used the scale and the baking measuring spoon thing it says 1 table spoon on it but its slightly bigger than the regular measuring spoon (I think it’s like table spoon and a half)... hope that helps...0

That's so frustrating! Maybe dump it into a big bowl?0 -
the scoop is in there...just dig some more. Turn the closed container upside down and shake, then the scoop should be near the top. It is a big scoop (i use optimum nutrition also) and according to my scale, it has to be a HEEPING scoop to meet the grams per serving size. Id estimate it at about 1/4 cup (not heeping)0

Yeah it's 48 grams per scoop, which is a little over 3 tablespoons. 3 tablespoons = 1/3 cup.
And I would dump it out, but it's the 6 pound canister. I am envisioning a HUGE mess if I try that!!!0 -
I found it. In the bottom. Poked around there for a while with a chef's knife to try to 'hit' something hard, then had to shake it up a bunch of time to get it to unpack and migrate towards the top.
But I had a yummy chocolate protein peanut butter shake as a reward.0
