sweet and sour chicken

does anyone have a healthy recipe for this? we dont like the sweet and sour sauce though. we just love the way the chicken is breaded....does anyone know how to do that?

I don't think there is a way to make it breaded and healthy, because to get that consistency you have to deep fry it. My only option would be to use shake and bake for the breading and bake it instead.0

Yeah, I knew it wasn't the same thing but the recipe includes making the "breaded" chicken you talked about. I've found when making my own asian dishes it's really easy to change or leave out ingredients and still have a yummy dish. I recently made this: http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Chinese-Chicken-Spaghetti and changed a few things - like not using sugar and using teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce because I had some from making the sesame chicken.0 -
you can dip your dried off chicken in egg (or in our cases i guess it would be egg white) and roll it in corn flakes or bread crumbs...then put it in the oven to make non fried "fried" chicken...ive done this before, and its not bad0

You could try the hungry girl version of faux fried chicken using fiber one. I've had a few of her fiber fried recipes and they're really good, and filling!
