My New Life list...

So I have lost a measly 2 lbs in past week and half. I'm not disappointed by this whatsoever! I have just started my journey. I have noticed that a lot of people around here definitely need motivation and tend to do a downward spiral for various reasons and end up falling off track. I'm determined not to do this. I feel completely compelled to revamp my life and it isn't a New Year spirit so much as a cumulative effect of life events and epiphanies.

I'm suggesting we do something like a bucket list. I have been daydreaming lately about everything I'm going to do! I can do these things now but I feel like I prefer to have more confidence in myself before I go about these activities and getting to my GW is my main focus right now. Once I've incorporated all of the things that are required to maintain a healthy weight and can do it as second nature and habit- I'm moving on to bigger and better things!!!

- I'm going to buy myself a motorcycle. I'll spend then next year or so figuring out if I want a sexy sleek European one or a Harley haha.

- I'm going to learn how to dance. I've always been too shy. Life is too damned short! I am a music junkie so dancing naturally should follow. (nevermind that my musical tastes don't really complement any form of dance lol)

- Once I get to my GW I'm going to hire a personal trainer and get cut. I want super defined muscles.

- I'm going to throw away every scrap of clothing in my bedroom closet, my wardrobe, and the two closets I have in my garage with sizes from 6-18. *everything* and start from scratch.

- I'm finally going to learn how to swim!!!!

- My children will be a bit older so I will travel with my husband. (old enough to leave with the grandparents)

    WOW!!! This was so very inspirational for sure......Thanks for sharing this i had not even thought of a BUCKET LIST. I may have to try this myself. I have several pounds to lose an hadn been on this site long only for little over 2 weeks. I am trying to find everything to keep my mind on track for sure. You have given me a whole new outlook. Thanks Again!!!!

    I was hoping to see all of the fun things you all want to do and WILL do
  • * I'm throwing out all of my clothes and buying a whole new wardrobe.
    * I'm getting rid of every one piece and tankini that I own and buying a Kelley green bikini from OLD NAVY
    * I'm not going to stop counting calories just because I hit my goal weight because it gives me a sense of control.
    * I'm going to work on being a better person all around.
    * I'm buying a TON of new shoes to match all of my new clothes.
    * I'm going to have a different pair of jeans for every day of the week ( I havent worn jeans in 4.5 years)
    * I'm going to get my belly button pierced.
    * I'm going to get my tattoos re done so that they actually look good! (One is on my back and one is just below my hip on my upper leg)
    * I'm getting my facial hair laser removed because the reason it is the way it is is my weight.

    I think thats all I've got so far. :)

    I've never been interested in getting tattoos really. My little bro is covered skillfully from his toes to his neck...but maybe this will make me rethink that!!! I was thinking last night about my new and upcoming improved bod and thinking..hmm..tattoos....LOL. Too bad my husband wouldn't like it...and too bad I get to do whatever I want with my body anyway :).
