When you do a work out dvd and there isn't a listing for it in the cardio section would you just put it under aerobics? caltsthenics? or just not? I'm trying to figure out the right category I know it's hard to judge calories burned for these activities since there is no way to know how hard a person works out.

Its easier and a lot more accurate to just buy a $20 heart monitor and put down what you really did burn. :)

It depends on the workout. For Zumba I log it in a aerobics, high impact. Without a heart rate monitor all you will get is an estimate of the calories burned.
What video are you doing? Maybe post that and see what others say.

We have the Biggest Loser Yoga, Cardio Max, and Power Sculpt.... I have a watch with a heart rate monitor... Didn't even think of that :)

I do walk away the lbs and list it as low impact although some do have a bit of jogging involved. I'm not sure that an hrm would benefit me yet so I can't say.
