There are so many challenges on here with different programs to follow like 30 day shred, p90x, couch to 5k, etc & I get bored really easy & really prefer to do a variety of workouts where I can make sure I'm getting both my cardio & toning all areas of my body throughout the week. I have lots of different dvd's, an elliptical, & a treadmill. I am going to aim to do 30-40 minutes of cardio Monday-Friday followed by 10-20 minutes of strength training. I'm going to do 20 minutes of cardio on Saturdays (if I feel up to it) & rest on Sundays, that way I'm getting 5 good workouts/wk followed by a short cardio workout on Saturday. I'm wondering if anyone out there wants to join me, doesn't matter what type of cardio you do (dvd, treadmill, etc) as long as you get up & move. Here's what I started doing just to give you an example:
Sunday-rest
Monday-30-40 min cardio & shoulders & back
Tuesday-30-40 min cardio & abs
Wednesday-30-40 min cardio & arms & chest
Thursday-30-40 min cardio & abs
Friday-30-40 min cardio & hips, thighs, & butt
Saturday-20 min cardio or rest
Anyone interested in joining me???

I forgot to mention, I just had a baby in October so I'm trying to get rid of the baby weight (and then some) for an upcoming wedding in October. So if there is any other new moms or brides to be looking for support, I'd love to help.0

That's what I like to do also. I've been trying to work out at least 5 days a week. Right now I've been running and doing some cardio/strength training DVD's. I also post on another thread http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/126862-workout-buddies-women-ages-25-35 that does kind of the same thing. We all support each other and most of us work out 5 days a week. I'll try to keep posting on this thread too. Good luck0
