1 box super moist yellow cake mix
1 6 ounce vanilla lowfat yogurt
1/2 cup natural apple sauce
6 ounces water
6 ounce chocolate chips

Mix well
Line cupcake pan
Bake at 325 for 20 min
Serves 24
125 cal each

    I use apple sauce in like everything I bake, it's amazing right?
    I never thought of using yogurt, I will have to try that! thanks for posting!

    I've tried using red velvet cake mix in low cal version recipes before and it never turns out very well. I suspect it has to do with all the little dye pellets in the mix that make it turn red. Cuz every other flavor I've ever tried has worked just fine.
  • Probably so I just like the chocolate chips b/c it gives more flavor and my kids and hubby like it
    I'm sure any cake mix will work.
