Hey everyone!
My mom just gave me her old bread machine and I absolutely love it! So I was wondering if you guys had any favorite recipes that you like to make in your bread machine. I've made a couple that I found on the internet, but nothing I absolutely love.

I think we just found them on the internet. Over time we have found our favorites, and ones that are good for certain foods/occasions. We also make our own combinations. A few ideas:
1. Make your own pizza dough and add in some garlic/herbs
2. When it calls for wheat flour (say 2 cups) try substituting 1/2 cup with 7 grain cereal or wheat bran
3. Add some ground flaxseed
4. Add walnuts or craisens
5. If it calls for buttermilk substitute for lowfat yogurt
Enjoy your machine! We use ours at least twice a week! So yummy to have fresh homemade bread with salads.0 -
I really like a cottage cheese/ dill recipe that I have. Here are the ingredients:
3 to 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon dill seed
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 package regular active or fast-acting dry yeast
1 cup water
1/2 cup small-curd cottage cheese
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon dill seed0 -
Thanks for the buttermilk tip!
