i'm doing lower carb so keep that in mind when I give you the recipes.

I didn't add the extra salt though and used more spices.

Turkey burgers, chili with ground turkey, sheppards pie (use mashed cauliflower instead of potatoes. The ground beef substitution is what I do.

This "Spicy Turkey Meatloaf" is one of my families favorites. It was featured in a Gourmet Light magazine. I'll never go back to a beef meatloaf. This is, by far, the very best ever.

SPICY TURKEY MEATLOAF SERVES 8 OVEN 350

    1 T. olive oil Sautee onion &
1 onion, chopped mushrooms in olive
8 oz. mushrooms, cleaned and sliced oil about 8 min. Add
3 garlic cloves, minced garlic towards end.
3/4 c. panko or italian breadcrumbs Remove from heat, cool
1/2 c. low sodium chicken broth 5 min. Combine onion
    3 T. chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley mixture, breadcrumbs, &
1 T. low sodium soy sauce all ingredients through the
1 T. sriracha hot chile sauce egg in large bowl. Stir well
1 T. worchestershire sauce to combine. Spread into 9x5
1/2 tsp. fresh ground black pepper pan.
    1-1/2 lbs. ground turkey breast
1 large egg, lightly beaten TOPPING:
    Cooking spray 1/2 C. ketchup
    1 T. brown sugar
(Mix topping ingredients & spread 1/8 tsp. dry mustard
on top. Bake 40 min. (to 160 deg) 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
Let rest 10 min. before serving.

Really sorry. I copied the recipe from another application. I see that it has combined the ingredient list with the cooking directions. You should be able to find an intact recipe by googling Gourmet light and searching for "spicy turkey meatloaf"

I use ground turkey in my spaghetti sauce and my family is starting to prefer it that way. Also did turkey tacos and they were fabulous. I really think anything you use beef...you could substitute ground turkey or chicken. I wait for chicken thighs to go on sale and then use my food processor to process it myself.

You can use it every way you used ground beef. I used it in everything meatloaf, burgers, tacos, and lasanga. There is very little grease and the best part is it doesn't shrink!
