So when I started my weight loss journey the beginning of Janurary, I told myself that I would do a 1000 calorie intake as well exercise. I admit that I have not been my best when I comes to my daily exercise but as far as my intake I have been doing very well. I am at a 15 lb weight loss standstill!! My question, do I need to drop my calorie intake more?? I have a treadmill in my apt. but at times I get burned out on it, any suggestions for me as to how I can get over this hump of and start losing more weight?!?!

No do not drop your calorie intake any more. You may want to increase your calories slightly when you do exercise, particularly with some extra lean protein!0

Eat more...sounds crazy but you need to eat more. Quality lean protein and fruits and veggies. You'll have more energy for your workouts too!0

So on the days that I do exercise, I should increase my calories by how much? I plug everything into MFP and when I do exercise, it gives me more calories that I am able to eat. Should I just make sure it is lean protein that I am taking in?0

I totally agree! Well said!0 -
Definitely do not drop your calorie intake. You actually need to raise it a few hundred calories since you are exercising. I would try varying your intake. One day you do really well and then maybe a day or two you don't do so well and go over your calorie intake. You body needs variety.0

Try some different workouts this week and also increase your calories in. You might vary the calories in per day as well because that keeps your metabolism moving and doesn't allow it to get used to the same thing!
Good luck!0 -
Thanks all for your advice, so @strivingfor130-on one or two days I should just eat and not monitor how many calories I am taking in?0

You should probably boost it up to 1200 when you arent exercising, and MFP inputs what you should be eating after you log your exercise which is normally about 200-300 calories more (depending on the exercise).0

I strongly agree w/ PP's .... do not drop your calories any more and read these three very important posts:

Yes, still monitor it so you don't go waaay off track. Some days I am below my intake, and sometimes I am over and I have been steadily losing for the past few weeks. Just an option to see if it may jumpstart your weightloss.0
