Hi there,

I just finished a brief cardio workout of30 minutes, (350 calories).

Simple question, Would eating a small handful of almonds (approx 15) after a workout be a smart choice as a snack? This is usually in the evening.

Thanks:)

Chocolate milk is also a good after workout drink. If you want to watch your calories more drink almond milk or unsweetened almond milk with stevia and vanilla.
  • I like to mix almonds and walnuts. Just a handful plus a glass of chocolate milk.

That's my favorite nut combination plus a banana. Blended together tastes like banana bread. Strong coffee with it sometimes too.

    Chart is on this link:

I wouldn't, but I love nuts too much. Although Almonds are one of my least favorite nuts and they are one of the least calorific nuts. 15 probably wouldn't be bad though, approx 160 cals for 24 of them, so you figure it could be just 100 cals...you're probably in the ok zone.
