Newbie needs friends!

I just joined. I was feeling pretty discouraged and then started looking at everyone's progress! Just started dieting today. It is going to be a long first week. I used another diet website years ago that you were in a chat room and loved it.

I definitely need friends and encouragement. I am 41 year old mother and wife. Like most of you, life is crazy busy!

Looking forward to future where I can breath easier And have more energy. the extra weight if terrible on my asthma.

    Sounds like you & I have very similar lives - I work full time in my friend's shop, my hubby & I own our own business, I have 2 teenage daughters (1 just started high school, the other is in her final year of primary school), all 3 of us play netball which means 5 afternoons training between us all, I run (LOL well that's the plan) 6-7 mornings a week, I'm part of my church's music team & I love socialising. Phew, I need to sit down, I'm exhausted. LOL

    You have taken an amazingly huge & scary step to put yourself first & congratulations. It will be difficult, frustrating & hard but remember that there are people here who are going through the same struggles & we're all here to help each other with whatever we need.
