i have a bodybugg/bodymediafit and love it. i personally don't think you need to pay jenny craig for the extra program.... you can read about my experience with mine at http://payfitforward.wordpress.com and the blog is called "buggin' out." :-)

Yeah, Body Bugg and Body Media are made by the same company. It is good for those who are at least half way to their goal weight and want to know more about their exercise calories burned, sleep calories burned, and calorie intake. JC members get a discount.

I haven't read much about it but it sounds like they just use HRM's and such to determine how many calories you are actually burning instead of guessing based on weight, height, etc. You can probably do this at home, much cheaper, by getting your own HRM with calorie counter.
  • My boyfriend tried the Jenny Craig diet a while ago and was really disappointed by the quality of food. It claims to be a foodies diet but no foodie would be happy eating out of packets 3 times a day, no matter how many vegetables you are allowed to pile on in addition. One really good thing about it was the mentor he was assigned who was really helpful in motivating him. Overall we considered it very overpriced and lacking in quality.

well i'm currently a jenny craig member....i have been since sept 2005....i believe my consultant said the metabolic max was 199 and that includes the online access which can tend to be the pricey part for the body bugg....i do have a HRM and use it for my workout...i am more than half way to my goal and wonder if this new tool might be helpful when i start to plateau and/or maintain at the end.....still looking for people who might have actually tried it...
